I have never concieved and do not know if I will ever. I agree completely with Mandy. God is much bigger than our attempts at birth control and He is also much much bigger than our attempts at concieving as well! In regards to this author I am not sure whether I agree completely with the statement, but I do believe that when we think that we are "controlling" anything we are mistaken!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5418467215736432648.post-23131878405779696762009-01-29T14:55:00.000-08:002009-01-29T14:55:00.000-08:00we have never used birth control and God has bless...we have never used birth control and God has blessed us with 5 children we have held and 2 we have not.

the language used is very stout. abortion is a harsh word and used in the medical world in regards to a miscarriage (spontaneous abortion). i'm not sure if i agree or not but i do know that God has blessed our quiver and closed down shop all on His own without any help one way or another from us.

i would also say that God is bigger than our attempts at birth control.

hmmm...i am going to have to chew on this one a bit, laurie. thanks!mandyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02311056355928920032noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5418467215736432648.post-46138280696686238362009-01-24T18:21:00.000-08:002009-01-24T18:21:00.000-08:00(i posted a comment then reread the quote and deci...(i posted a comment then reread the quote and decided that my first interpretation was wrong)

my thought is that family planning is not the mother of abortion. totally disagree.

yes, children are a gift. i will agree with that.Anna Morrisonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11539206816762545067noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5418467215736432648.post-21503250135255627222009-01-24T18:08:00.000-08:002009-01-24T18:08:00.000-08:00This comment has been removed by the author.Anna Morrisonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11539206816762545067noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5418467215736432648.post-9150472150113187882009-01-22T16:56:00.000-08:002009-01-22T16:56:00.000-08:00I think it's an interesting point. I have a Catholic friend who believes this utterly and I can't say it's too hard to agree with, I just can't imagine not planning, I'm such a planner. And I don't want 1,000 children! But I think selfishness has definitely developed through birth control of any means.Ginnyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14000207755367135708noreply@blogger.com
